A new hunting opportunity for antlerless elk is available in WMU 732.
Starting Thursday, November 1, at 9 a.m., a new Quota Licence can be purchased though Alberta RELM for one of four special
hunts on Canadian Forces Base Suffield that run on:
- November 12-16
- November 19-23
- November 26-30 and
- December 3-7
Keep in mind that CFB Suffield reserves the right to cancel scheduled seasons with short or no notice, based on operational
requirements.
How to Buy a Special Elk Quota Licence
- Licences will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of $9 plus GST.
- A total of 200 permits will be allotted – 50 for each hunt.
- Hunters must be Alberta residents eligible to hunt in the province.
- Hunters should register on AlbertaRELM in advance and purchase a current year Wildlife Certificate, if they have not already
done so.
- Hunters require a yellow online paper tag to purchase this licence online. The yellow online paper tags are available

Special Hunt Requirements
- Hunters must contact CFB Suffield at 403 544-4310 at least 48 hours before their hunt for instructions.
